  • Is there a minimum order spend?
Yes, the minimum order spend is £100 for resin flower preservation, excluding delivery.
  • Is there an initial deposit to be paid?
Yes, the deposit is £35 to secure your date and will be deducted from your final bill.
  • Does resin yellow over time?
I use a premium crystal clear epoxy resin with the latest UV stabilising technology, no solvents or VOCs, however I do advise to keep your resin pieces out of direct sunlight because the UV rays like with a lot of items can change the colour of the resin over time and also bleach the colour of the flowers. If looked after properly your resin pieces should last for a very long time.
  • Will I have bubbles in my resin pieces?
Please be aware bubbles/ micro bubbles can occur in your pieces, however I will try and keep this to a minimum and it is not classed as a defect. Please remember your pieces are not manufactured and will take on their own charm as they are handmade.
  • Would this work with old dried flowers or fake flowers?
Yes I can work with pre-dried or old dried flowers and even fake flowers.
  • How will drying my flowers effect their colour?
Drying flowers in silica gel can alter the colour depending on the shade and flower type. I do not have any influence over this, other than using high quality silica gel to take the moisture out of your flowers asap. Some of the most common results are as follows :- Red roses turn into different shades of deep burgundy. White flowers can turn into an off white-cream colour or even looked bruised. Pink flowers can turn into a deep purple.
  • Can you source the flowers instead of me?
Yes I can source and dry any flowers / bouquet wanted at an additional charge to be discussed as appropriate.
  • Can you put anything in resin?
You can put many things in resin. The most popular wedding & funeral items are wedding confetti, wedding favours from the tables, wedding invitations, photos, metal lucky charms, button holes or corsages, funeral eulogy ..... (the list is endless). Please contact me if you want anything specific or bespoke.

Once the flowers are received I will then require 50% of the total order to start the process. The remainder of your balance minus the initial deposit is then due once your order is complete and ready to be delivered.
